Specifications include, but are not limited to: Successful respondents will provide eligible TennCare Select enrollees with covered services that include physical health and Behavioral Health Services as well as LTSS such as nursing facilities and Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS). Through this procurement, TennCare strives to contract with a high-performing Managed Care Organization (MCO) who will partner to help advance TennCare’s mission of improving lives through high-quality, cost-effective care. A successful Respondent will additionally be prepared to provide services to eligible TennCare enrollees from other MCO Risk Contract plans under the TennCare Select service delivery and payment model as described in the Pro Forma Contract (RFP Attachment 6.5). The resulting intended awardee who is determined to be both responsive and responsible to this RFP shall take on this responsibility under the direction of TennCare (e.g. the circumstance that two of the contracted MCOs for the Risk contracts fail to perform their contractual and fiduciary obligations). MCO Risk enrollees would be assigned to TennCare Select as needed.
