Specifications include, but are not limited to: The RIA State funding will be used to fund the costs of engineering services for the development of a Stormwater Management Plan for the Town. Engineering services will include data collection methods such as GPS handheld devices and survey for development of a GIS database of the Town of Port Royal’s existing stormwater system. The data collection will be used to develop existing conditions and proposed improvements stormwater master model. The stormwater models will allow for the development of a stormwater capital improvements plan of the proposed improvements and implementation. The Town needs to improve its stormwater infrastructure to mitigate flooding, protect public and private property, prevent traffic accidents, and reduce flood-related health hazards like waterborne bacteria and physical debris.
