Specifications include, but are not limited to: The MDMR is seeking bids from qualified and experienced contractors to set up to 2,000 cubic yards of oyster shells or approved cultch material with an average of 75,000 oyster spat per cubic yard with all oyster spat being equal to or greater than 3 millimeters. The Contractor will be required to only use Mississippi Sound brood stock (Crassostrea virginica) and the bid amount will include all costs associated with the procuring of oyster shell or approved cultch material, setting of the oyster spat and delivery/deployment of live oysters to deployment sites within the Mississippi Sound. The MDMR will determine the deployment sites based on water quality conditions during time of deployment.
