The point of sale system shall be capable of controlling, documenting and reporting the following functions: • Overall System Features • Point of Sale • Internet Meal Payments • Accountability Reporting • Financial Management • Training & Support • Food and Supply Order Processing • Menu Planner/ Nutrition Analysis • USDA Commodity Management • Inventory Management • Compatibility with Power School software. • Compatibility with South Carolina Department of Education System for Direct Certification. • Initial data entry of all current Nutrition Services products used by US Foods.
