Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Existing Windows a) The existing storefront window frames are to be reused. b) There are fourteen (14) windows in total, ten (10) on the East side and four (4) on the West side of the building. Refer to Appendix A for further details. c) Remove glass from existing window frames. d) Old glass must be disposed of properly in accordance with all local, state, and federal regulations. e) This project does not include the storefront entrance, only the windows. 2. Install New Glass a) New, bullet resistant, glass is to be installed into the existing storefront window frames as per the manufacture’s specifications. b) Appropriate caulking should be performed during the installation process. 3. Cleanup Awarded bidder will be responsible for cleanup, removal, and disposal of all debris generated during the installation process. Glass Specifications 1. Bullet Resistant Glass a) Glass must be 1 3/16” Bullet Resistant Glass: Level 1, which has been UL tested to stop a 9mm bullet. b) Glass must be gray tinted.
