Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Alaska Department of Education and Early Development, Division of Finance and Support Services – Child Nutrition, USDA Commodity Program is requesting rates for shipment of commodity food products from the Seattle/Tacoma area to Recipient Agencies in Alaska. Payment Schedule II – Over Ocean Shipments. These commodity food items will be sentto all Alaskan communities with school districts. Transportation to all communities listed on Attachment A must be provided. Rate quote and all invoices must include delivery to Recipient Agency where feasible and must include a break‐out for over‐ocean transportation and land transportation. Schedule II shipments are received in Seattle/Tacoma area in partial to full‐truck quantities of mixed products by processor segregated by product type. Freight companies must have a facility in the Seattle/Tacoma area to receive, store and deliver received shipments.
