Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) is requesting Bids for the purchase of Fraud Prevention Training Services and intends to use the results of this process to award a Contract. DWD does not guarantee it will purchase any specific quantity or dollar amount. Bids that require a minimum number of Commodities or Services to be ordered will be rejected. There is no guarantee to purchase any specific quantity or to pay any minimum Contract price during the term of the Contract. The purpose of the training will be to increase the knowledge of State investigative, audit, and legal staff regarding complex financial transactions; to familiarize staff with more sophisticated, investigative techniques; to increase staff's ability to resolve allegations of fraud; and to provide staff with the knowledge to design more effective anti-fraud programs. The identified training program will provide investigative and audit staff with standardized training and will create a knowledge base for staff who investigate fraud within the Unemployment Insurance (UI) Division. The training will enable the attendees to detect and investigate both benefit fraud and worker misclassification more effectively and efficiently. The training will be made available to an estimated fifty-five (55) individuals from the Bureau of Legal Affairs and will have a duration of approximately four (4) days.
