Specifications include, but are not limited to: Task 1 – Survey and stake the western boundary of Cell 1 and the associated parcel boundary in preparation for Task 2. Task 2 – Cell 1, west expansion. Fell, limb, and stack birch and spruce timber greater than seven inches diameter at breast height within the expansion area of Cell 1. Timber should be stacked within the IMD where it is out of the way and available for the public. Timber smaller than seven inches to be chipped of shredded, in lengths no greater than six inches, and disposed of in an organics disposal cell within the IMD. Strip and clear the overburden about 150-feet west of the existing disturbed area, leaving no less than 100-feet of undisturbed vegetation between the IMD boundary and the parcel boundary. Overburden shall be stacked where its out of the way yet convenient for future reclamation. During future reclamation, chipped or shredded wood can be mixed with overburden when it comes time to spread out the dirt during reclamation.
