Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Consultant will furnish Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering Services as required for the design for a new ferry vessel for the Belle Chase \ Scarsdale Ferry Crossing in Plaquemines Parish. The services to be rendered for this Project shall consist of the following: Design The available construction plans for the M/V Pointe-a-La-Hache will be provided to the Consultant and may be utilized as a basic concept basis for design for the new vessel. This is primarily due to the operator’s familiarity of this vessel. The Consultant shall review these plans, below owner requirements and modify or recommend a preliminary plan concept as necessary to comply with all current applicable ABS and USCG standards meeting below owner requirements.
