Specifications include, but are not limited to: 4.1.1. Contractor(s) must provide a copy of all required licenses/certifications including, but not limited to, Commercial Driver's License (CDL), for any changes or additional employees and subcontractor employees. Crane operators must be certified by the National Certification Crane Operators (NCCO) within fourteen (14) days of the change or new hire. County reserves the right to request any licenses required for crane services. 4.1.2. Contractor(s) personnel will contact the County to request a site visit to determine the crane sizing and cost estimate within twenty-four (24) hours of notification via e-mail at no charge to County. Estimate must include all charges. Flat fee for delivery and pick-up fee must include travel time, mileage, fuel, and all miscellaneous charges if applicable. Approval for individual jobs will be based on written estimate; Contractor(s) will not provide any service without the approval from the County. Contractor will have twenty-four (24) hours to provide service upon notification of approval from County. If Contractor cannot meet required timeframe, Contractor must notify County for a mutually agreed upon time frame. 4.1.3. Contractor must include counterbalance weights in the unit prices for all cranes when applicable. 4.1.4. When County personnel ask for a specific size crane (i.e.17) ton and contractor offers the next size available (i.e. 22) ton, Contractor must charge the County for the price of the crane County requested. 4.1.5. Contractor(s) must follow all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Regulations. 4.1.6. County will allow a minimum two (2) hour charge per rental in billing increments of: • 17 ton to 40-ton crane- bill in quarter(¼) hour increments. • 70 ton to 90-ton crane - bill in half-hour(½) hour increments
