Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Check in with on-site staff and coordinate location of equipment and facilitation of work to be performed. 2. Perform tube brushing and eddy current testing of existing condenser and evaporator barrels to verify integrity of tubes. Provide client with generated report and advise as needed before retrofitting compressors. 3. Provide and install two (2) new Hanbell replacement screw compressors to replace the existing compressors that currently serve the York chiller and building. Compressors to come with variable drives (VFDs) and control panels. 4. Reclaim existing refrigerant and disconnect all services as required to demo and remove the existing compressors. Refrigerant to be stored in approved containers. 5. Furnish rigging to set new compressors in place. 6. Make necessary modifications to refrigerant piping to accommodate the new compressors and evaporative condenser, including isolation valves in each of the liquid and suction lines. 7. Furnish and install new refrigerant drier cores. 8. Replacement of existing thermal expansion valves with new electronic thermal expansion valves and necessary control modules. 9. Install compressor control panel. 10. Provide the necessary electrical to accommodate the new equipment. Tie in to existing electrical service as required. 11. Pressurize and leak check the modified refrigerant circuits. *Note: Excessive system leaks found throughout the existing, untouched, system must be repaired. Costs for such repairs will immediately be brought to the District’s attention and submitted for approval prior to performing repair(s). 12. Evacuation of refrigerant circuit(s). 13. Charge circuits with new R-407C refrigerant. 14. Provide necessary piping insulation for new piping at points of connections. 15. Startup, commission and check system operation. 16. Clean up and dispose of debris and removed items. Dispose of per California Rules and Regulations. 17. Provide O&M manuals and instructional training to update customer staff on operation of new equipment.
