Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Kick-off The selected firm will enter begin the project with a kick-off meeting with Economic Development staff. The selected consultant shall have the ability to begin work immediately. 2. Economic Development Update Meetings The selected firm will lead a series of regular meetings with Economic Development staff to identify strategy owners and prioritize work on those strategies. During the process, the consultant shall make recommendations and receive feedback from staff, stakeholders that participated in the Growing Louisville Together process and affected organizations. These groups will provide input on recommended implementation plan. 3. Plan Development The selected firm with will deliver an implementation matrix that lists strategy priority and party responsible for completing the task. The plan will also include organizational recommendations on best practices as needed. The process is expected to take six months, but may be extended if necessary. 4. Strategic Plan Delivery A final implementation document shall be delivered. Ideally, the plan will be provided in an electronic format that is easily posted on a website. The plan shall be completed no later than August 30, 2024.
