Specifications include, but are not limited to: DAILY REQUIREMENTS – To be completed on Tuesdays and Fridays after 5:30pm A. COMMON AREA CLEANING: Common areas are defined as the porch, entrance/exit, and main front open area. The Contractor shall: 1. Sweep and damp mop hard floors. 2. Vacuum and spot clean carpeted floors (Lot 1 only). 3. Empty and wipe clean waste baskets inside and out and replace trash bags. 4. Dust and clean furniture, file cabinets, desks, cabinets, light switches, mini blinds, and window ledges. 5. Clean and polish glass, including front vestibule glass; doors and kick plates, including front and back doors. 6. Clean, sanitize, and wipe dry water fountain. 7. Ensure light fixtures, corners, baseboards, walls and windowsills are kept free of obvious cobwebs and dust. 8. Sweep porches, entrance/exits, and sidewalks (from building to flagpole). B. RESTROOM CLEANING: The Contractor shall: 1. Thoroughly clean and sanitize sinks, faucets, toilets, and urinals. 2. Sweep and damp mop and/or scrub and disinfect floors giving special attention to maintaining the cleanliness of floors around the bases of toilets and urinals. 3. Dust, clean, and fill all dispensers including those for paper towels, and toilet tissue, and replace soap and hand sanitizer as needed. 4. Clean and polish mirrors, countertops, shelving, window ledges, cabinets, drains, and chrome finished fixtures. 5. Empty waste baskets and sanitary napkin receptacles, replace liners, and wipe down their exterior. 6. Clean and disinfect all wall surfaces and partitions of bathroom stalls; wash and dry stall doors; Wash and dry all entry doors; clean and polish entry/exit door handles and kick plates. 7. Ensure light fixtures, corners, baseboards, and walls are kept free of obvious cobwebs and dust. C. SERVICE TRASH RECEPTACLES: The Contractor shall empty all waste baskets, including but not limited to office wastepaper receptacles, restroom receptacles, stockpiles of shredded paper and corrugated cartons and other trash. This service shall include installing new plastic bags of the proper size, in each garbage/trash receptacle as needed as a part of daily duties. All trash/garbage waste shall be placed in the VDOT provided garbage dumpster located on the premises.
