Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project will provide bank stabilization at the following locations: 1. Walnut Creek from Douglas Parkway to approximately 400’ south of 142nd Street. 2. Golfview Creek from the western border of Golfview West Park and following the creek to Aurora Avenue. This includes work along Golfview Creek in Golfview Park and Cross Creek Park. The project limits should be examined and locations with erosion or high potential for future erosion should have solutions developed to stabilize these locations. The proposed designs should consider the costs of any permitting impacts to adjacent channels and wetlands in addition to the long-term stability of the creek banks. It is the City’s intent to bid this project in Fall of 2024 and have construction completed by the Spring of 2025. Related project items include grading, restoration, and associated permits. This project shall be two plan sets for the two different locations. There is a project planned adjacent to the first location that will influence the decision.
