The current software does not offer the tools to review what CPT code is appropriate for a procedure and give data driven support for what revenue code should be used. VitalWare (proposed software) allows us to review a CPT/HCPC and see what Medicare has historically paid on supporting the use of the correct revenue codes. Vitalware is also a cheaper per user option than the alternatives, vitalware also offers a robust supply and pharmacy suite that Mediregs does not currently offer that helps us bill correctly increasing likelihood of clean claims going out the door.
