Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.1.1 DOC/BCE will only accept brand new equipment. Used or refurbished equipment will not be permitted. 3.1.2 All equipment provided must meet the Electrical Standard for Industrial Machinery (NFPA 79) and shall be corded and ready to use at 210 volts. 3.1.3 Bidder shall provide operation and maintenance manuals, both in paper and electronic format. 3.1.4 Flatbed screen printing press shall have, at a minimum, the following features: 3.1.4.1 An ink recovery system to capture unused ink. 3.1.4.2 A method to lock screens securely into press. 3.1.4.3 Peel rate setting adjustment must be tool free. 3.1.4.4 Adjustable vacuum hold down table and blowback system that will accommodate flat aluminum sign blanks. 3.1.4.5 Squeegee/flood bar speed adjustment range from a minimum of 7 feet per minute up to 30 feet per minute. 3.1.4.6 Squeegee/flood bar angle adjustment. 3.1.4.7 Adjustable squeegee pressure. 3.1.4.8 Accommodate substrate thickness to a maximum of 1”. 3.1.4.9 Ability to print up to 48” x 60” sign blank. 3.1.5 Machine must be able to pass through a door width of 95”.
