Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project extends along 13th Street from 2nd Avenue South to the north where it concludes at 4th Avenue North. It will see to the removal of nearly 5500 SY of road pavement, 3800 CY of Excavation, 600 SY of Sidewalks and nearly 300 SY of driveway pavement. The new roadway will be narrowed down to 34' HMA, 2000 LF of Curb, and 360 SY of PCC for the intersection returns. Each pedestrian street crossing will be updated to better accommodate pedestrian accessibility and finally there will be a small amount of storm water installation, three new storm structures and 63 LF of storm pipe. Critical to this project is the timeline, which requires the project to be started and completed between the end of school in the spring and the start of school at the end of summer.
