Specifications include, but are not limited to: Minnesota Housing announces the availability of up to $27.5 million in Family Homeless Prevention and Assistance Program (FHPAP) funding to provide supportive services and direct financial assistance to help households who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness retain their housing or obtain housing. Funding is contingent upon legislative approval, program appropriations and returned program funding. The amount of available funding may increase or decrease. Applications are due to Minnesota Housing by Thursday, February 22, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. Central time. Eligible FHPAP grantees include: • Tribal nations • Twin Cities metropolitan area: Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott and Washington counties, or a community-based nonprofit organization. • Non-metropolitan areas (Greater Minnesota): A county, a group of contiguous counties jointly acting together or a community-based nonprofit organization. Minimum service area is a county and maximum service area is statewide.
