Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of ADE’s Supervisors of Principals’ Academy is to provide in-depth professional supports to new and experienced Arizona superintendents/supervisors of principals in the form of facilitated, face-toface training and custom support. This cohort-based professional learning opportunity intends to build supervisor leadership capacity to support, evaluate, and retain principals. Specifically, SOPA’s objective is to develop participants’ knowledge, skills, and strategies by: • Providing highly interactive learning opportunities on effective leadership practices. • Teaching leadership skills and knowledge aligned to Arizona Principal Supervisor Professional Standards and the leadership training curriculum provided by ADE’s Principals’ Leadership Academy. • Mentoring to develop and implement best practices through job-embedded support. 4.1 Provide all services in a manner that advances ADE’s Mission Statement and Purpose: “The Arizona Department of Education (ADE) is a service organization committed to raising academic outcomes and empowering parents.” 4.2 Develop and deliver ADE-approved in-person professional learning opportunities in alignment with ADE Principals’ Leadership Academy. 4.2.1 Provide whole group trainings in Maricopa County at a venue to be provided by ADE. 4.2.2 Provide the venue for all other trainings. Contractor shall provide the venue for any training conducted outside of Maricopa County
