The scope of this contract encompasses a detailed review and analysis of the project and the system and services procured through the project. This includes evaluating the system and service’s compliance with specified requirements, standards, and procedures. The IV&V team operates independently from the system vendor team and is responsible for identifying and documenting any system discrepancies, risks, and non-conformities. The IV&V Contractor role extends to verifying the accuracy and completeness of the system documentation and ensuring that the system and services perform as intended by the Procuring Agency.; Additionally, the scope of the IV&V contract includes a series of systematic assessments and testing methodologies. These methodologies are employed to validate the functionality, reliability, and security of the system and service. The IV&V team is tasked with conducting system and service testing to supplement the testing conducted by the system vendor and the Procuring Agency. The team will prepare detailed reports or use a Procuring Agency tool to document their findings, recommendations, and any corrective actions needed. These reports are essential for stakeholders to understand the current state of the software and service and to make informed decisions about its future development and deployment.
