Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The successful bidder shall possess a valid Kansas Pesticide Business license and a list of all employees with Kansas Commercial Pesticide Applicator Certificates or Registered Pest Control Technicians, and furnish their license and the list of certificate numbers to the City upon request. 2. Insects to be controlled under the terms of this agreement shall include but not be limited to roaches, fleas, silverfish, gnats, ants, spiders, beetles, crickets, and occasional invaders. Initial treatment to include control on all insects listed. Exterior control of insects will be for several types including blister beetles, ground beetles and crickets. Termite control is specifically excluded and shall be a separate contract. a. Vendor shall agree to provide additional treatments at no charge and as needed between monthly services for covered pest. 3. Rodent control shall include the effective control of rats and mice in all buildings as well as perimeter control of burrows on the grounds. Methods of control which result in dead animals remaining in the premises is not acceptable. a. Vendor shall agree to provide additional treatments at no charge and as needed between monthly services. 4. The Contractor will be required to enter, inspect, and treat (as necessary) all of the designated buildings on a minimum of: a. Fire Department: once every two (2) months - preferably within the same week of each period for uniform control and convenience. b. Park Department: once every month - preferably within the same week of each period for uniform control and convenience. c. Various Departments, Boards and Agencies: once every two (2) months or as designated for each site - preferably within the same week of each period for uniform control and convenience. d. The Contractor shall make additional treatments as such are deemed necessary by the City of Wichita. Such services will be rendered within forty-eight (48) hours after being notified by a designated representative of the City of Wichita.
