Specifications include, but are not limited to: Service Types 12.1. Residential Scale Services: Areas requiring service may contain structures and are frequently divided by fencing or other obstacles that limit access to the property. However, all grass and weeds, other than intentionally planted ornamental material, shall be cut to a height of no more than three inches. String trimming shall be performed on grass and weeds not cut by mowing equipment. Personal property such as sidewalks, driveways, automobiles and landscape commonly exist in these areas. Frequently, portions of the property are mainly accessible only through a walk-in yard gate. Grass and weeds in these areas will be over 12” in height, and frequently may be significantly taller. Stand-on, and/or zero-turn mowers are appropriate machine types for these areas. 12.1.1. Pricing shall be based on the entire lot area. A unit price shall be provided for up to the first 15,000 sq. ft. of lot area, and a separate unit cost for each and every additional 5,000 sq. ft., or any portion thereof, beyond the initial 15,000 sq. ft. for any single parcel. 12.2. Acreage Scale Services: Typically, these are areas where access to the majority of the property needing service is not significantly limited by structures of fences. All grass and weeds, other than intentionally planted ornamental material, shall be cut to a height of no more than four inches. Commonly, these areas are property that has not fully been developed, or is otherwise vacant. These areas may include vegetation of significant height and density and may contain rough, wet, sloping, eroded, or uneven ground conditions. Grass and weeds in these areas will be over 12” in height, and frequently may be significantly taller. Large commercial grade self-propelled mowers or tractor powered rotary mowers are appropriate machine types for these areas. 12.2.1. Pricing shall be based on the area mowed, or otherwise cut, regardless of total lot area. A unit price shall be provided for up to the first one acre of area serviced, and a separate unit cost for each and every additional acre, or any portion thereof, beyond the initial acre for any single location. 12.3. Trash Removal & Disposal: Requires the collection, removal, and disposal of refuse, litter, ashes, leaves, debris, paper, combustibles, rubbish, offal, or waste or any kind or form which is uncared for, discarded or abandoned. Amounts to be collected will likely range considerably. Collection may be required on any property type or land use such as residential property, public right-of-way, ditches, or vacant land etc.. All trash shall be disposed of in a legal manner. The contractor shall bear all cost associated with transportation and disposal. 12.3.1. Pricing shall provide a flat fee response cost for service requested per property, per occasion and shall include the removal and disposal of up to three cubic yards or 3,000 lbs. of trash. A separate unit cost shall be provided for the removal and disposal of each additional three cubic yards or 3,000 lbs., or portion thereof. 12.3.2. Photographic evidence of each additional three cubic yards, or portion thereof beyond the first three cubic yards, shall be required prior to payment of invoice.
