Specifications include, but are not limited to: COUNTY will provide the funding necessary to operating non-congregate shelter projects for both homeless adults and/or couples and families. These projects will provide shelter, food, linkage to community-based services, and case management to support the move toward housing stability. These non-congregate shelter projects will be closely aligned with street outreach teams and case conferencing to permanently reduce the unsheltered status of various homeless populations. These non-congregate shelter projects will be a sheltering option for individuals. Case conferencing between referring sources, shelter project staff, and households are designed to identify housing options and permanently reduce the number of households experiencing unsheltered homelessness. Providers should make sure their budget includes all costs associated with providing services.
