Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Awardee(s) will support implementation of a new SNWA conservation incentive program by providing products and/or services designed to ensure customer compliance with the SNWA’s mandatory seasonal watering restrictions (“compliance solution”). This may include the development of smart irrigation controller products that automatically adjust for seasonal compliance based on a customer’s property address; products or services that allow for remote management of smart irrigation clocks; a combination of products and services; or another solution that meets these objectives. The SNWA anticipates that project implementation will help customers overcome compliance barriers such as lack of will/time/expertise and awareness, resulting in significant water savings. The Proponent’s compliance solution must automatically adjust for or restrict customer irrigation infrastructure for compliance with time-of-day and day of week restriction. This compliance solution cannot be revoked or overridden by the customer or the customer’s landscape contractor except for a twoweek granted watering exemption by the water utility for the establishment of new plants. The customer and/or customer’s landscape contractor will retain the ability to access and adjust run cycles and cycle duration, conduct single-event manual tests, schedule rain delays, and deploy other smart functions.
