Specifications include, but are not limited to: Ambulance Module: A Type I Medix module, Unit #36, shall be supplied by Warren County EMS and utilized for this remount. Dismount: Disconnect all sub systems between chassis and module. This will include all environmental connections, all electrical connections, and all structural connections. Lift the module to allow full inspection of understructure. This removal will in no way deform, disfigure, or compromise the module. Module Inspection: Inspect all exposed structure and framing for cracks, warpage, excessive wear and corrosion. Any questionable areas shall be treated with dye penetrant material to expose cracks. Professionally repair as needed. Type Changeover: Transfer module from Dodge Type I to Dodge Type I. Any necessary module modifications shall be made in an OEM professional manner. Module Remount: Mount down module squarely on chassis. Remounter to use OEM rubber isolators, mounting bolts and transfer body per OEM chassis body builder guidelines. The use of aftermarket or substandard components is strictly prohibited. Cab Seal: Install a non-electrolytic accordion rubber boot between module and cab. Seal interface to eliminate air and water leaks. New stainless steel bolts and/or urethane adhesive will be used to fasten boot plate to cab and or the module body.
