Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. SUMMARY OF WORK- GENERAL: 1. All work related to this project shall be staged, conducted and carried out within all OSHA and NRCA safety guidelines and according to the City of Meriden. 2. Removal and installation of three different roofing systems: a. Low Slope: New two-ply modified bitumen system with mineral embedded SBS cap sheet in cold applied low-voc asphaltic adhesive. b. Steep Slope: New aluminum structural standing “T” seam system including wall panels, copings and trim. c. Plaza Deck: New two-ply modified bitumen system with mineral embedded SBS cap sheet in cold applied low-voc asphaltic adhesive with protective slip sheet and pedestal paver overburden. B. SUMMARY OF WORK- SPECIFIC LOW SLOPE: 1. Low Slope Roof Sections: a. Remove all flashings and existing roofing system down to the top layer of insulation and dispose of per local regulations and guidelines. b. Inspect existing insulation systems integrity for any wet or compromised layers and replace like in kind as needed with approval from Owner and Owners rep at a per sqft price. c. Mechanically fasten the specified base layer of polyisocyanurate insulation over existing dry insulation and chemically adhere all subsequent layers as follow while staggering all system joints: 1) Mechanically fasten one layer of 1-1/2” polyiso insulation attached to deck per wind up-lift patterns required. 2) Install a 2’ wide section of ½” tapered, along rear drip edge and install any needed crickets at all units obstructing flow. 3) Install one layer of ½” DensDeck adhered to insulation with specified low-rise foam adhesive.
