Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide continuous repair of district instruments throughout the entire contracted period. Repairs may include cases, bows, and other essential items for adequate use and protection of the instruments. Instruments brought in by students or parents must be properly tagged and the tag must remain with the instrument until returned. At time of pickup, a receipt for each instrument will be prepared. In some instances, pickup and/or delivery by vendor will be deemed necessary. Please indicate pickup and/or delivery charge on the cost sheet. Contractor shall provide emergency repair services (before concerts, trips festivals etc.). Emergency is defined as a student not having an instrument for performance unless it is repaired. Contractor shall provide monthly invoices, by school location, showing instruments repaired and specifically what work was done. Contractor shall furnish all necessary repair tools. Contractor will recommend to GSD music specialist the condemnation of instruments that are not reasonably repairable. Such recommendations shall be documented.
