Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.1 a) The District Safe Passage program is a holistic and proactive approach that aims to increase safety measures outside the school campuses. The program aims to put safety first by advocating with partners and increasing safety measures to create safe routes and passages to all District students. In addition, to meet students’ needs by helping them to build competencies to become successful citizens: basic physical, developmental, and social needs. 3.1 b) Peace Building programs that increase knowledge and understanding of conflict and preferred methods of self-control and conflict resolution skills. As well as help youth develop core life skills to successfully manage school, work, outside interests, and social relationships. 3.1 c) Community Development programs promote community engagement, building relationships, leadership opportunities, and instill skills to help youth learn how to give back to their communities. 3.2 The Community Partnerships awarded the impending contract will be expected to provide support services to Black students including: a) Provide support in Mentorship; b) Provide support to Black students in the areas of Leadership Development; c) Provide support to Black students in the areas of Enrichment: Dance, Art, and Music;
