Specifications include, but are not limited to: The work covered by the Special Provisions and Technical Specifications consists of furnishing all labor, plant, power, equipment,supplies, and performing all operations necessary for the completion of the project. The Contractor shall perform all operations necessary for: • Providing and maintaining erosion and sediment controls • Clearing and grubbing • Removal of debris, trash, tree roots, and associated materials • Pumping of AMD source discharges around the work area into a sediment filter bag and temporary treatment cell containing soda ash briquettes, or similar, prior to discharging into a receiving stream. • Removal of existing system, including but not limited to, concrete structures, existing CPP culverts, PVC piping, dewatering of existing treatment facilities, and removal of unsuitable materials • Construction and installation of support areas • Maintenance of access roads to the sites • Construction and installation of drainage control items including channels, culverts, concrete siphon vaults, valve vaults, piping, manholes, inlets, etc. • Construct new gravel roads • Construct oxidation beds, flushable limestone bed, and polishing ponds and regrade area • Modify existing and/or install underdrain, conveyance, and stormwater piping • Remove and/or abandon existing AMD gravity pipe system and appurtenances • Install AMD gravity pipe system and appurtenances • Modify existing gravel roads • Revegetate all disturbed areas • Final site cleanup
