Specifications include, but are not limited to: Approximately, up to 140 hours per month will be required to perform these services: 1.) Promote the Challenge Program and provide information to prospective applicants. 2.) Develop, maintain, and correspond (in person, telephone, email, social media, letters, etc.) with a network of gatekeepers, sources of referrals, for at-risk youth including, but not limited to: Circuit Courts, school officials, mental health providers, and other state agencies to maximize recruits within the region. 3.) Commended and directed to recruit at least (100-150) persons to be accepted ChalleNGe applicants for each fiscal year’s two residential classes. 4.) Interview and determine applicant acceptability and ensure submission of a complete application for acceptability. 5.) Address applicant questions and concerns prior to admissions 6.) Maintain communication with cadet parents/guardians throughout residential phase. 7.) Assist with cadet transports as needed for family emergencies, court dates, medical appointments, etc. using Academy state vehicles. These tasks will be directed and scheduled by Academy administration. 8.) Conduct speaking engagements and/or events to recruit and maintain a mentor pool for an assigned region. 9.) Interview potential mentor applicants. 10.) Assist with planning and executing special outreach events (Academy tours, Open House, Family/Mentor Days, etc.) to facilitate recruiting and public relations. 11.) Assist in generating placement options for all graduates from the region. 12.) Each Coordinator will create and submit a weekly report to Academy administration that will detail, but not limited to; travel logs, applicants in their working que, current applicant documentation verification, as well as daily hours worked. Academy administration will require the coordinator(s) complete a verification form that details billable working hours for each invoice submitted for payment. *Please see time record document. * 13.) Perform other duties relevant to the residential and post-residential phase of the program. Recruiting Coordinators must be able to work flexible hours in an assigned region. Considerable in-state travel will be necessary to provide the services required. The following equipment and supplies will be provided by Bluegrass ChalleNGe Academy to perform these services: Marketing Supplies (i.e., recruiting print materials, business cards, logo items, etc.) Recruiting Coordinators will not work over the allotted 140 hours per month without prior approval from the Director of Bluegrass ChalleNGe Academy and total hours will not go over the contracted number of hours.
