Specifications include, but are not limited to: The intent of this RFQ is to create a pool of DSA inspectors for the SSFUSD Measure T Bond Program. The measure T Bond program will include numerous construction projects of various scopes and durations for the SSFUSD school facilities. Please refer to Exhibit A of the agreement which includes DSA IR A-7 (DSA Inspector Certification) and DSA IR A-8 (DSA Inspector Duties and Performance) for a general overview of the scope of services of a DSA inspector of record. Any firm or Individual selected based on this RFQ process must be capable of providing full Inspector of Record services, Class 1, Class 2, Class 3 and/or Class 4 as defined by DSA IR A-7 (Inspector Certification and Approval), Under 2019 CBC, for any and all selected projects. In general, the services to be provided by the inspector will include: Support the District and design team during the pre-construction phase of the project by reviewing the project construction documents and sharing observations and comments associated with this review. Building inspections and observation during construction for: o New buildings construction o Modernization and renovations of existing buildings o Site and facilities upgrades o Coordination and management of the special inspection laboratory o Coordination and participation with the general contractor, subcontractors, and architect of record throughout the construction project. Support the District and project team during the project close-out phase by monitoring the teams compliance with all regulation and code requirements in order to meet the specific criteria for project certification associated with the DSA approved construction drawings and specifications.
