Specifications include, but are not limited to: Louisville Metro Public Works Department is seeking an annual price contract to rent or purchase barricades and traffic control devices for Louisville Metro Government. All barricades, signs and cones shall conform to the minimum specifications of the “Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices,” Kentucky Department of Transportation, Bureau of Highways Barricade Specifications and Manual of Street Construction and Maintenance of Operations as adopted by the Louisville Metro Department of Public Works. Warning Lights - One each six volt flashing warning lights per day; One each twelve volt flashing warning light per day; One each six volt steady burning warning light Two each six volt flashing warning lights for second light per day; Two each twelve volt flashing warning lights for second light per day; Minimum Set-Up charge. Type I Barricade--A single panel barricade 6 feet to 12 feet in length, may use one or more flashers and may have suitable signs denoting high water, road closed or police line, etc. Type II Barricade--The common horse type barricade usually 36 inches long to be used where minimum danger exists.
