Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Respond to questions regarding various facets of labor relations and or legal questions through written requests or phone calls. • Act as a County representative in grievance hearings arising pursuant to collective bargaining agreements. Assist in the analysis and preparation and prepare grievance responses on behalf of the County. • Prepare and present the County’s position grievance arbitration and other employee/class action grievances as requested by the County. • Prepare and present the County’s position in impasse, interest arbitration, unit determination and other clarification hearings such as Bureau of Mediation Services administrative hearings, binding arbitration, grievance arbitration, strike planning, and employee relations training and other special projects as requested by the County. • Preparation for labor relations and labor negotiations litigation and representation of the County in litigation matter as requested by the Human Resources Director.
