Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.1 The Cabinet shall conform to the requirements of CalTrans’ TEES (¶ 2.2). Where differences occur between CalTrans’ specification and this specification, this specification shall govern. 3.2 The Cabinet will be fully assembled with all rack mount assemblies installed, and all interconnecting harnesses installed. 3.3 The Cabinet shall be packaged according to the CalTrans’ TEES (¶ 2.2) requirements. Cabinet, accessories, and options shall be packaged as a single unit and placed in the cabinet. 3.3.1 The miscellaneous components, including the plug-in modules, harnesses, and documentation shall be installed or packaged as a unit and placed in the cabinet for shipping. 3.3.2 The cabinet cover shall be labeled with a minimum of the following: Manufacturer’s name and location manufactured, manufacturing lot and/or date manufactured, cabinet configuration identification (e.g. “334C Cabinet” or “Basic Size 1 Cabinet”) and options included. 3.4 Hardware for installing the cabinet onto the foundation shall be agency supplied. (Foundation anchor bolts, washers, and nuts). 3.5 The cabinet shall have a raw aluminum finish. 3.5.1 The cabinet may be special-ordered with a custom, single color, anti-graffiti paint. The paint shall be equivalent to TCI Coating’s (¶ 2.12) Anti-Graffiti paint, colored with The Shepherd Color Company’s (¶ 2.11) Arctic→ IR-reflective, low heat buildup pigments, or equivalent. The color will be declared in the purchase order. 3.6 The front and rear cabinet foundation flanges, under the doors, shall be reinforced with a minimum 5 mm (0.2-inch) aluminum bracket (or equivalent). All cabinet mounting bolts shall pass through the reinforcing bracket.
