Specifications include, but are not limited to: CLEARING AND GRUBBING - A. Remove obstructions, shrubs, understory brush and other vegetation necessary to access trees that are indicated to be removed. Remove all trees indicated on associated plan to 18” above ground. 1. Dispose of all material off-site. 2. Do NOT bury any portion of the tree on site. 3. Do NOT remove any stumps. B. Coordinate with Electrical Demolition contractor for removal of power and cables on any trees indicated to be removed. Electrical Demolition will be completed as a separate bid and is NIC. When working in and around the existing overhead KU electric line, use caution. The Contractor is responsible for contacting KU and all utility companies for any required permits. C. Prevention of soil exposure is imperative. Rutting is anticipated but shall be prevented as is practicable. D. All trees indicated to be removed shall be felled no later than March 30th. Removal of all trees from the property shall be no later than the work complete date in the established project schedule.
