Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management Division of Marine Fisheries (RIDEM DMF) is seeking up to two industry participants to bring sea samplers on board to conduct lobster tagging during normal fishing operations. This project will run from February 2024 through at least August 2025, and it is expected that each vessel will participate in up to twelve (12) trips over the grant period. The seasonality and frequency of sampling trips will be determined by project scientists, within the constraints of the vessel’s fishing seasonality. Contract bidders will need to complete the supplied application to identify vessel specifications, daily stipend rate, and fishing location. Ideally, between the two contracted vessels, lobster fishing trips will be conducted in both inshore and offshore regions of LMA 2 (Figure 2), and contracted vessels may be selected accordingly
