Specifications include, but are not limited to: This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for Elevator Renovation at BPU’s Water and Environmental Engineering Building, 300 N. 65th Street, Kansas City, KS 66102 in accordance with attached contract documents and specifications. The Board of Public Utilities is requesting proposals for the substantial renovation of one (1) hydraulic elevator in BPU Water and Environmental Engineering Building. Elevator components were damaged due to lighting strike last year and it is currently out of service. Due to this, time is of the essence in the substantial renovation to provide correct operation of the elevator. In June this year, ATIS Elevator, LLC provided the design of the renovation and modernization of the Elevator to rehab of the components and upgrade to current code requirements. This RFP is to solicit proposals for a qualified Elevator Contractor to complete the renovation work detailed in the contract documents.
