Specifications include, but are not limited to: Each Day of Service • Clean all common touch areas using EPA listed germicidal cleaners and disinfectants approved for the SARS-COV-2 cleaning procedures. • Complete hygienic cleaning of all restrooms especially walls and floors around sink, toilet and urinal areas (Cleaning Rest Rooms Specification, Custodial Services General Specifications), wipe and sanitize handrails and door handles, refill paper towels, soap, urinal tablets, toilet paper leaving an extra roll(s) in the restroom, clean all mirrors, etc. • Empty wastebaskets, clean & sanitize, collect trash, and remove to disposal area (dumpster). • Collect recyclable paper and remove to recycling area. • Vacuum carpeting using a commercial / industrial vacuum cleaner, shampoo spot clean as necessary. • Sweep, dry mop or vacuum all non-carpeted floors; then damp mop (includes stairwells if applicable). • Low & mid-level dusting up to 6 feet; cleared surfaces only. • Wipe counters, tables and hard surface chairs in the interview rooms, conference rooms and lobby areas. • Maintain all entry floor mats and runners. • Wash door glass, interior windows and glass walls in the main entrance and public areas. • Keep custodial closets clean and free of odors. Monthly - last Thursday of The Month ▪ High level dusting (above 6 feet). As Needed / As Requested • Spot clean walls, system furniture partitions, vertical window treatments and woodwork. • Any incidental custodial / janitorial tasks as requested by the Contract Administrator, Facility Representative or their designee. Periodic Tasks All periodic tasks must be performed in the scheduled months. The Contractor will only be able to charge for the services after the tasks have been successfully performed. Failure to do so can result in the contract being terminated. Quarterly – Last Thursday in January, April, July and October • Vacuum and damp wipe intake and exhaust grills. Twice per Year – April & October The following task MUST be scheduled with the Contract Administrator at least four weeks prior to being performed. ▪ Shampoo carpeting using professional steam cleaning equipment with a minimum temperature of 140F. See Custodial Services General Specifications for performance specifications. Once per Year – Last Thursday in May ▪ Wash light fixtures and lenses. ▪ Vacuum systems furniture panels / partitions. ▪ Wash inside & outside of exterior windows, both sides of storm windows, and vacuum window treatments.
