Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Matanuska-Susitna Borough is requesting bids from qualified vendors to Metro Ethernet Circuits Services to support high speed data network connectivity between the Borough’s 52 physical locations that are attached to the MSB WAN environment. It is the overall intent of this proposal to provide a Wide Area Network (WAN) that meets the Borough’s current level of service and is scalable as demands for bandwidth and quality of service increase. The MatSu Borough prefers that the service be delivered on a Virtual Private LAN Service (VPLS) running over a Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) network, supporting Q-in-Q. The Engagement will include but is not limited to 1. Project Communication a. Status reporting and project communications. b. Review of existing hardware to verify capabilities. c. Coordination of all circuit upgrades to minimize downtime. 2. Documentation a. Complete network diagram showing Borough facilities and all related metro ethernet connections.
