Specifications include, but are not limited to: Sedgwick County, Kansas (hereinafter referred to as “county”) is seeking a firm to provide educational training to healthcare and public safety professionals on Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) related to substance use, particularly opioids. The following objectives have been identified for this contract: 1. Acquire ongoing healthcare and public safety educational trainings on the SBIRT process, including screening tools, interventions, motivational interviewing, and making appropriate referrals to treatment that meets the parameters, conditions and mandatory requirements presented in the document. 2. Establish contract pricing with the proposer that has the best proven performance, service and customer satisfaction. 3. Acquire services with the most advantageous overall cost to the county.
