Specifications include, but are not limited to: Maricopa County Planning and Development (P&D) department is requesting services to include the review of construction drawings and civil engineered grading, drainage and transportation plans. The reviews will evaluate plans for compliance with Maricopa County-adopted building codes, zoning ordinance requirements, drainage regulations, adopted drainage policies and standards, and transportation requirements. In addition, the department may request the review of utility grade power generation projects for compliance with Maricopa County (County) ordinances and regulations as well as applicable federal guidelines and regulation. The work may also include on-site inspections as needed. The specific jobs may include either residential or non-residential projects. The type of proposed work may include new construction, remodel or additions, subdivision plants and infrastructure, and related inspections. The work may also include safety compliance inspections of existing structures. Maricopa County Environmental Services Department (MCESD) is requesting services to include the review of civil engineering plans for infrastructure as follows: 1) Water distribution pipelines, potable water storage tanks, and water distribution system appurtenances; 2) Wastewater collection pipelines, lift stations, and wastewater collection system appurtenances; 3) Onsite wastewater treatment facilities; 4) Public and semi-public aquatics facilities including pools, splash pads, and water parks, and 5) Water and wastewater treatment plant facilities to include surface and groundwater treatment facilities.
