Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of the Ryan White Part A program is to provide direct financial assistance to an eligible metropolitan area (EMA) that has been severely affected by the HIV epidemic. Grant funds assist eligible jurisdictions to develop or enhance access to a comprehensive continuum of high quality, community-based care for people with HIV who are low-income. Clinical quality management is a mandated requirement of all Ryan White recipients. It is critical to monitor health outcomes for persons with HIV in the jurisdiction and to improve the system of care. The New Haven Health Department is seeking a consultant to coordinate all Clinical Quality Improvement (CQI) Processes including but not limited to scheduling site visits, technical assistance activities for providers and Ryan White staff, provider communications, written reports, and presentations. The consultant is expected to actively contribute to and facilitate collaboration within EMA-wide CQI initiatives.
