Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of the Ryan White Part A program is to provide direct financial assistance to an eligible metropolitan area (EMA) that has been severely affected by the HIV epidemic. Grant funds assist eligible jurisdictions to develop or enhance access to a comprehensive continuum of high quality, community-based care for people with HIV who are low-income. The Ryan White Part A legislation mandates an adjunct planning body referred to as a “Planning Council” it also mandates annual program, fiscal and quality assurance monitoring of subrecipients funded by Ryan White Part A dollars. The New Haven Health Department is seeking a consultant to staff the planning council to fulfill its legislatively mandated functions and to assist the Recipient with required monitoring requirements.
