Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Tucson seeks to convert the existing water meter and water meter reading system to a “state of the art” AMI Solution that leverages smart devices to improve the City’s water operations. The City is seeking a single Solution that is flexible and will allow for future Water expansion. The Solution must include all software (cloud-based), hardware, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the entire project. The Solution should also include support for installation labor and related services such as testing, training, and all other items necessary to install and integrate the Solution for the City. Key objectives of this project are as follows: • Collect and store meter reading data for all 250,000+ water meters in the TW service area. • Improve non-revenue water losses through enhanced analytics. • Reduce water loss and enhance water conservation efforts. • Improve customer service and experience. • Allow for improved monthly billing accuracy. • Enhance the meter-to-cash process. • Provide a customer facing portal for customers to view their water usage. • Provide for expandability to connect to future expansion.
