Specifications include, but are not limited to: General Housekeeping Empty wastebaskets and reline with clean plastic trash liner. Transport collected waste to trash handling areas. D Clean and sanitize all telephones including receiver ear and mouthpieces. D Clean and sanitize all water drinking fountains. D Spot clean all interior glass including wall hangings and pictures. D Floors will be dust mopped/swept. Wet mop with clear water and disinfectant to control buildup of soil. D Vacuum all exposed carpets D Inspect for spots and stains, remove if possible. D NOTE: Janitorial personnel will not touch or disturb papers on desks, files, counters, etc. Upon completion, lights will be extinguished, windows closed, doors locked, area left in neat and orderly condition. Trash removed to designated area. AREA: RESTROOM CLEANING Clean, sanitize and polish all vitreous fixtures including toilet bowls, urinals and sinks using a germicidal detergent, Mop the floor with germicidal materials D Clean and polish all chrome fittings and bright-work including shelves, flushometers, and metal dispensers. D Clean and sanitize “both” sides of every toilet seat with a germicidal detergent D Clean and polish all glass and mirrors. D Empty all containers and disposals, and insert liners as required. Transport collected waste to trash handling area. D Wash and sanitize exterior of all containers using an approved disinfectant solution. D Empty and sanitize interiors of sanitary napkin containers. D Remove spots, stains, and splashes from wall and partition areas. D Remove soil from doors, frames, light switches, kick and push plates, handles, etc. D Refill all dispensers (napkins, soap, tissue, towels, and liners) Remove soil and visible stains from front of all dispensers. D Dust and spot clean all toilet partitions, tile walls, dispensers and receptacles, using an approved disinfectant solution. D Sweep and wash floors with approved disinfectant solution. D Wash and sanitize all partitions, tile walls, enamel surfaces if requested D
