Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Sign Panels 1. All products offered shall meet United States FAA Advisory Circular, AC 150/5345-44K, or latest requirements. 2. Replacement sign panels shall be ADB Safegate replacement sign panels or approved equal. 3. Sign layout will be specified upon placement of order by the State Airfield Operation Personnel. 4. Size 2 and 3 sign panels shall be of the following types: a. Direction, Destination, Boundary Signs (Type L-858Y). b. Mandatory Instruction Signs (Type L-858R). c. Runway Taxiway Location Signs (Type L-858L). 5. Size 4 sign panels shall be Runway Distance Remaining Signs (Type L-858L). B. Substitution requests and samples shall be submitted for approval to the Project Manager prior to the award within 30 calendar days after the bid. Three (3) full size samples of each line item requested shall be submitted. The State will compare samples to original equipment sign panels to determine acceptability. No compensation will be made for the test samples. Samples shall be held by the State for product comparison for order fulfillment. Substitution requests deemed unacceptable shall be grounds for rejection of bid. C. Delivery 1. Products furnished under these specifications shall be delivered within 120 working days after receipt of order. If product is not able to be delivered within the specified time, it must be communicated to the Project Manager at the time the order is placed (see section D, Delivery Extension.) Contractor may coordinate a delivery schedule with Project Manager satisfactory to both Airport and Contractor. 2.
