Specifications include, but are not limited to: Locksets • SCS has ordered 1,786 Arrow Locksets thru Wesco/Anixter. The anticipated delivery, for all locksets, is mid-February 2024. • All locksets will include the core and will already be keyed. Doors • It is unknown if all doors are currently prepped for cylindrical style locksets. • Wood Interior Doors Minimum Qualifications • Experience with the replacement/upgrading of locksets in commercial buildings and schools. • Licensed to work in the State of Tennessee • Provide a minimum of three (3) commercial references where similar work has been performed. Project Period • It is the intent of SCS to have the project completed by May 31, 2024 (provided all locksets arrive in a timely manner). • No work shall be allowed during State mandated testing. The Bidder will be required to schedule their work around these days. • SCS dates with no students present in the schools: o February 19, 2024 o March 5, 2024 o March 18 – 22, 2024 o March 29, 2024 o May 23 – 31, 2024; Pricing • SCS requests the vendor provide the following pricing models: o Cost per Lockset Door currently prepped for cylindrical lockset Vendor to prep door for lockset installation Alternate pricing for metal door o Hourly rate • The Contractor is allowed to submit pricing for both pricing models or for only one. • For the purposes of bid evaluation, Contractors submitting a response for Hourly Rate only must include an explanation for how this pricing model relates to the project scope. For example: The Contractor can install two locksets per hour for currently prepped doors.
