Specifications include, but are not limited to:1. Provide services related to the design, review and preparation of construction documents and bid packages for City projects 2. Develop technical specifications and details for specific projects 3. Assist in the bidding process for future projects 4. Provide assistance in preparing public presentations 5. Provide assistance in applying for local, state and federal permits, such as the CT DEEP, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, etc. 6. Help identify opportunities for state and or federal grants. 7. Provide services related to design and cost estimation for roadway reconstruction projects storm drainage repair and improvement projects, water pollution control authority projects, and other City projects. 8. Provide surveying services, including services for topographic surveys, as-built surveys, boundary surveys. 9. Review plans submitted by third parties related to work in the City Right of Way, including those submitted by private and public utilities, private contracting companies, and developers. 10. Review plans related to the Walk Bridge Program and other CT D.O.T. projects to be performed in Norwalk 11. Develop construction documents for future projects 12. Structural analysis and review 13. Material and on-site field testing
