Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of San Bernardino Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department would like to obtain rental services from qualified bidder(s) for the 2024 San Bernardino FESTIVAL. The date of the event is May 4, 2024. The FESTIVAL will be hosted at the 17.9-acre Lytle Creek Park, 380 S. “K” Street, San Bernardino CA, 92410. The event concept is to provide opportunities for participating individuals and groups to connect cultures and heritage and enjoy entertainment, food, music, art, and more. There will be five “villages”: Food, Exhibits/Demonstrations/Community Partners, Artists & Historians, Kids, and Animals. Each village has its own set of activities. Merchants will be dispersed throughout the various villages. In addition, there are three stages of entertainment: Main, Kids, and Exhibit/Demo. 1. Tent shall meet all permit guidelines to include, but not limited to site plan, location, floor plan, tie down/anchoring method, and flame resistance. 2. All booth/tent material, tarps, and other coverings, including roofs, walls, panels, coverings, and tents, shall be fire-retardant or fire resistant. A manufacturer tag or paperwork certifying this is acceptable. Please check with the San Bernardino County Fire Department on these regulations. The City will be responsible for issuing a No Fee Permit for temporary booth/tent structures for this event. 3. The Contractor may be required to assist with the supporting documentation to be submitted for obtaining permits. 4. Tents must be clean, in good condition, free of rips/tears/pin holes/etc., erected per Site Plan, and left ready for use on event date. 5. Offeror shall be in the position to replace tents within four (4) hours. 6. Frame tents shall have aluminum tube construction.
