Specifications include, but are not limited to: The main items of work involved in the proposed project are: The second floor will be renovated to include a new commercial foodservice and bar station operated by Tailwind Concessions. An existing planning room on the second floor will be transformed to include refrigeration, freezer, and dry food storage, as well as a new water heater and mop sink. The plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems will be upgraded to handle the new foodservice and bar areas. A new waste line and grease interceptor will be added and will tie into the existing sewer main in front of the terminal building. The new utilities will tie into the existing building’s system. The new kitchen area will require all necessary commercial kitchen equipment including hand sinks, a three-compartment sink, refrigeration, and a countertop cooking unit. Both the food service and bar areas will contain a point of sale and custom casework. The bar will include drink serving equipment, refrigeration, and a glasswasher. Minor finishes are to be completed, including removing the existing carpet flooring in the kitchen and existing planning room and sealing the concrete beneath and replacing the kitchen’s existing acoustic ceiling tiles with Foodservice Grade ones. The first floor will need minor work with removing a single wall and adding in a new one with a secure double door where noted to account for secure ADA access to the second floor. Construction for this project is expected to take 140 Working Days.
